New Performances for Children
The Magic Butterfly – a night of excitement is as easy as the wave of a wand. Explore the glorious creatures of field and forest and the smaller residents of our good earth
Splatter – an upset spills everywhere and becomes the reason to examine feelings. Mixed up emotions are sorted in this colorful story about incidental accidents.
New Performances
Going Polar – is a devised movement-theatre work about an old concept, that “opposites attract.” Though most commonly associated with personal relationships, “opposites attract” remains part of the belief system that a little tension is a good thing. Evident in the current climate of cultural divides, it is more common that people are attracted to those who hold the same views and values as themselves. It’s difficult to change someone’s mind; easy to not be swayed. Music is by Mark Sylvester, a skilled guitarist and composer.

EyeSoar Fringe Edition – The connotation of “eyesore”, an unpleasant sight in a public place, spins in EyeSoar as audio, video and movement highlight the wonderful people and organizations in an industrial neighborhood. Space is getting tighter and longtime occupants nestle with change. EyeSoar is a compelling mix with music by Inner Ear Studio founder Don Zientara

Different professional choreographers are featured at each performance series
Guest Companies
Local youth groups open the show at most matinees and professional companies such as NextReflex Dance Collective, Dance Art Theater and choreographers including Katie Sopoci Drake bring works to the evening concerts.
