Volunteer Board of Directors

Immediate openings are available for the JFD Board of Directors. Offer your expertise and help us to better serve the community. Info: Board of Directors Packet 2024-25

The Board of Directors:
• Aids in marketing, development and financial decision making
• Networks with business and non-profit organizations in Alexandria & Arlington;
• Cultivates collaborative exchanges

Meeting Schedule: Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of every other month(September through July), from 7 to 8:00 p.m. by video call. To discuss this opportunity, please contact

Artist Employment

Male and female artists are needed for 2024-25. Work with guest choreographers and at specific sites. Rehearsals are Tues 4 – 7:30 PM at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington and Thurs 8 – 11 AM at NVFAA at the Athenaeum, Alexandria. Outreach Educators

Do you have experience in movement outreach for children? We are hiring educators for after school for 2024-25, Mon – Fri. Generous stipend provided plus opportunities for additional work.
