Kate Walker is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. She is a proud alumna of the Kentucky Performing Arts Governor’s School for the Arts and School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA) where she received formative dance education. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Interdisciplinary Arts from the University of Kentucky. Kate currently lives in the NOVA area and dances for Gin Dance Company under the direction of Shu-Chen Cuff. When not dancing, she’s an assistant teaching artist at Jane Franklin Dance and teaches yoga and dance in the community.
