• Sound Walk
Jane Franklin Dance brings together premier dance, live music, and artistic and community collaboration in Sound Walk. From duet marimbas, to a string quartet, to an original music composition that incorporates the sounds of neighborhood workshops, to a chorus of youth voices, each dance utilizes the power of collaboration to combine artistic comment about the ever changing community with the people who inhabit it.
The concert features premier performances by Jane Franklin Dance with music by Gina Biver's Splash, ensemble hear "Train" music for Hand Hold,and Nova String Quartet sponsored by American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras. Guest Artist for Jane Franklin Dance is Florian Roullier.
