THANK YOU

Thank you to the Piedmont Arts Association and Heidi Pinkston, The Virginia Commission for the Arts Touring Program, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Paul Mellon Arts in Education Program and Jeffrey Allison for making our trip to the Carlisle school possible.  We led a workshop in choreography for Candace Owens dedicated students and then performed a sample of repertory excerpts for grades 4 - 12 the following day.

Thanks to Caroline Calouche and the Charlotte Dance Festival for hosting our performance at the beautiful Booth Playhouse in downtown Charlotte.

Thanks to Kaye Weinstein Gary and "Yes, Virginia Dance" for including us in a varied showcase featuring eight choreographers at Grace Street Theater in Richmond.

Get Involved....NURTURE

We're looking for talented volunteer board members to strengthen our programs for dance education, community engagement and public performance.  If you can contribute your time, thoughfulness, and leadership one evening every six weeks for a Board Meeting, and for a few hours in between, and are interested in exploring this opportunity, call Jane at 703-298-3235.  We're especially looking for those with donor cultivation experience, with background in accounting or bookeeping, from the  Asian or African-American communities or

on the younger side of the community.  Or young at heart!

If you would like to get involved with Jane Franklin Dance as a volunteer, or bring Jane Franklin Dance to your school or community, please let us know.  Call 703-298-3235.
